Sam holds herself to a clinical and ethical standard that goes beyond what any credential requires.
The Chaminade Award is presented by the University of Dayton to recognize outstanding commitment to the counseling profession. In 2022, Samantha Victoria Belmont, LPCC was selected as a recipient in recognition of her clinical excellence, compassionate practice, and dedication to the people she serves. This award represents not just a moment of recognition but a standard Sam carries into every session, every framework she builds, and every life she touches through her work.
Samantha Belmont, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Trauma and Authenticity Expert licensed in the state of Ohio with 7 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, children, teens and families. Her clinical work is grounded in advanced training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems Level 2, two of the most effective trauma modalities available, and is delivered in English, Spanish and Portuguese. She is the creator of the Value vs Fear Method, a proprietary therapeutic framework built on the intersection of trauma healing and authentic living.
Sam is currently building a body of public work in trauma education and authentic living, including content creation and community building across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. Her goal is simple: to take the work that happens in the therapy room and bring it to anyone who needs it, wherever they are.
Sam does not measure her success by recognitions received. She measures it by the moment someone begins living a life they finally recognize as their own. That standard does not change.
